Equine Affaire Issue

This is a special issue of Midnight Sun Newsletter. The staff here (a.k.a. Kyanna) at Midnight Sun Newsletter traveled to Pomona, California to the Equine Affaire with Aunt Kathy and Roxanne.  Here is a day-by-day account of the trip.

Wenesday

Today we got into the Ontario Airport at about 9:30am.

We rented a car and drove 3 hours to Buellton, where

Kathy's friend Karen lives.  We went to see the horses

at a huge Arabian and Thoroughbred farm.  Jugs is a

six-year-old Paint mare.  She was very cute.  Honey is

another one of Karen's horses.  She was the mare

Karen originally had when she lived in Alaska. Honey is

a 27-year-old Appaloosa.  There were some very

beautiful Arabs and Thoroughbreds on the farm where

Karen kept her horses.  After that, we went to where

her daughter rides.  We watched Lindsay ride her pony,

Miss Bliss.  There were many eventing thoroughbreds and

warmbloods in that barn.
